Cherry Blossom

Not content with putting paint to canvas, I thought I would put some on the wall!! This one is in the headspace above our bed and looks lovely with the lights from the overhead cupboards shining onto it.

I was inspired by an episode of BBCs Changing Rooms where they did something similar onto some panneling.

The branches were drawn freehand onto a taupe background and the cherryblossoms were added with a sponge and different pink colours!

Simple but effective and I am really pleased with the results! More importantly the wife likes it!!
