Patchwork Cat

This is a cat. Not my cat, but A cat.

My Mum loves cats, she and her partner have several and I noticed that several of them like to sit in the window and watch the world go by.

Mum also loves patchwork. Her poor long suffering partner is often dragged along to patchwork shows and conventions or some art fair or other that Mum has found!!!

It seemed sensible therefore when I decided to paint Mum a picture, that it involved her two great loves. Here is my attempt at capturing them both on canvas.
